Tour Da Yoop, Eh (Annual 1200 mile, 10 day bike tour)
Date:
July 24, 2026 - Aug. 2, 2026
Tour Da Yoop, Eh is a one-of-a-kind, fully supported endurance ride through Michigan’s Upper Peninsula that brings cyclists together for a 10-day, 1,200-mile journey around the region. The route is divided into ten ~120-mile sections, and riders can choose to participate in a single day or complete the entire tour over 10 days. The course loops through communities including Manistique, Escanaba, Iron Mountain, Ironwood, Houghton, Copper Harbor, Marquette, Grand Marais, Sault Ste. Marie, and St. Ignace, showcasing quiet, scenic roads, lake views, waterfalls, and some of the most celebrated cycling terrain in the Midwest.
More than just a cycling challenge, the event focuses on purpose and impact through its partnership with UP Lions Serve Childhood Cancer, raising funds and awareness for bike safety and families affected by childhood cancer. Since 2020, it has generated over $400,000 to provide financial and emotional support to Upper Peninsula families in need. Riders are supported along the way with SAG crews, hydration stations every 30–35 miles, and strong community involvement, creating a shared experience where strangers become teammates. Those who complete all ten sections earn the coveted Red Plaid Jersey, symbolizing endurance, connection, and commitment to something bigger than the ride itself.
