May 7, 2018 - Brewing Up A Business - When Jeff and Victoria Brickey decided to elevate their brewing hobby from the basement to a business, the couple took time to search for the ideal location. The 51st State Brewing Co. officially opened Jan. 28, 2018 and has been "packed all the time," Jeff Brickey said.
The small brewing system is capable of producing 124 gallons at a time, or two 62-gallon meniscal batches of different beer simultaneously. They are continuously brewing every other day, with each batch on average selling out within about two weeks.
New brews are introduced on a regular basis.
Hand-tossed wood-fired pizzas, salads and appetizers are also served at the brewery
As the days get warmer and the patio opens, the Brickeys are hiring at all positions
