About 12 inches of snow is on the ground as of  Feb 3.  

Pine Mountain Resort: 100% Open 24-36" base.

Norway Mountain: 100% Open 20-34" base.

Snowmobile Trails: Trails are in fair to good condition, with regular grooming. With cold weather moving in, there will be icy areas so use caution. Groomer reports are the trails are in fair to good condition, but a bit hard.

Cross Country Trails:

  • Iron Mountain City Park Groomed.
  • Fumee Lake Area Groomed.
  • Merriman East Pathway, plowed parking lot, self-groomed.

    Ice Fishing: Still use caution as the ice is slowly improving. Reports that panfish and northerns have been biting on both area lakes and rivers.
